Online Homeschooling
Online learning is a tool inside your pathway — not the pathway itself. Here is how families combine it well.
Self-paced platforms
Best for practice, fluency and revision. Weakest for writing feedback and discussion.
Live online classes
Good for accountability, discussion and subjects a parent cannot teach comfortably.
Online tutors
Targeted intervention or advanced preparation, usually one or two subjects at a time.
Blended plans
Most families end up here: offline reading and writing, online practice and specialist teaching.
Keeping online learning purposeful
- Set an outcome for each online session, not a duration
- Keep writing and problem solving offline where possible
- Review platform analytics weekly, not daily
- Use one platform per subject and finish it
- Teach AI literacy explicitly: check outputs, cite sources
